Thursday 4th saw the opening of the Winter Blues 3 exhibition at The Egg Café, Liverpool. The themed exhibition curated by Headspace featured two of Peter's paintings and runs until the end of December. Selected images from the private view are available here. Click here for the flyer.
The 'Pre-paid' postcard auction at The Cornerstone Gallery happened on the evening of the 12th December. Peter designed the 'Updaduff' home pregnancy test kit (as seen in Fully House Trained) for the auction. Other artists and celebrities included Sir Peter Blake, Holly Johnson and Paul O'Grady. From The Cornerstone website: "The Cornerstone Gallery is proud to present 'Pre-paid', an exhibition and auction of postcard works donated by artists and celebrities who contribute to Liverpool’s prestigious cultural life and continuing development." |

The Liverpool John Lennon Airport Community Arts Project was officially launched on the 18th September. Peter has three paintings on display at the airport and there are also pieces by four other artists (Graeme Currie, Laurence Payot, Debbie Ryan and Barry Worrall) on show. Peter has two paintings in the Oceans Apart exhibition at the International Art Gallery, Liverpool (5th - 17th July). This is the collaborative circle exhibition taking place as part of the PAX collaboration. Selected images from the the private view on the 4th July are available here.
The comedy show Fully House Trained (co-written by Peter and directed by Aoibheann Kelly) completed its run at The Printworks, Manchester. It was well received and sold out on the Friday evening. There are several reviews that are available online (Manchester Evening News, UKTheatre.net, etc). Some images taken during the show's technical run-through / final rehearsal can be seen on photographer Tom Wright's Flickr album. |

Peter produced the piece '50 People' for the PAX project. Like all pieces produced by each artist for the project, it is on a 100cm x 100cm piece of plexiglass. The resulting pieces will form the Womb Installation which will tour four continents over the next four years, culminating in an installation in London for the 2012 olympic games. |

The paintings Mockaccino, Reality TV MySpace WAG and FlatScreen Ghetto ISA are all on display at Liverpool John Lennon Airport from May 2008 until 2009. |

The comedy sketch show Fully House Trained written by Peter, Graeme Flynn and Neil Edwards has been accepted into this years Manchester 24:7 Theatre Festival (July 21st - 27th). Details on: www.247theatrefestival.co.uk.
Peter has been working on the graphics and images for the stage show as well as the promotional material. |
